How we handle your personal information.

1. Who we are

Winora is an educational subscription service delivered through a private Discord community, operated by Wake Up Media Pty Ltd (ABN 79 674 915 265). Winora is not a bookmaker, gambling operator, or financial adviser. For any privacy enquiry or to exercise the rights set out below, contact support@winorapro.com.

2. Our approach

We collect only the minimal personal information needed to run the Service. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Most of the personal information involved in delivering the Service is handled by our platform partners, Whop and Discord, rather than by Winora directly.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Collected directly by Winora

We collect a small amount of information directly:

Anonymised usage analytics through PostHog (see section 5).
Email addresses you submit through our waitlist or notify forms.

We do not directly collect your name, phone number, address, identity documents, or payment details.

3.2 Collected via our platform partners

Whop (billing and subscriptions) — name, email, region, payment details, and subscription status.
Discord (community access) — username, user ID, profile information, and IP/device information.

3.3 What Winora can see

Through these partners, Winora can see:

Your Discord username and user ID.
Whether your subscription is active or expired.
Messages you post in the Winora Discord.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

Operate and improve the website and Service.
Manage our waitlist.
Grant and remove Discord access.
Moderate the community and provide support.
Detect and prevent abuse.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising or profiling.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymised usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is linked to analytics data unless you take an explicit action that provides it — for example, submitting your email address.

6. Email communications

If you join our waitlist, we may contact you with updates about Winora. You can unsubscribe at any time. Our email communications comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

7. Storage and security

Email addresses we collect are stored in Australia (the ap-southeast-2 region). Payment and personal data handled by Whop, Discord, and our processors are secured by those providers. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

8. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only where legally required, or where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or misuse of the Service.

9. International transfers

Whop, Discord, and our processors may process some data outside Australia. Email addresses we collect directly are stored in Australia.

10. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the email address we hold for you on our lists. For personal information held by Whop or Discord, please exercise those rights directly with them. To make a request to us, contact support@winorapro.com.

11. Age

Winora is intended for users aged 18 and over who reside in Australia. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
